One of the more interesting aspects of vintage dresses is that they typically have small details that make them so much more fashionable than most things you can buy today. Take this dress from the late '50s/early '60s. It's simple enough--a shirt waist with a single button at the bodice. Now zoom in and you'll see that this shiny plastic black button perfectly compliments the honey comb print on the dress. Notice all those tiny ovals that fill the jewel-toned interlocking rectangles. We sure would like to meet Sir Rob, the manufacturer, because this dress is cute!

This dress is soft, swingy rayon. In addition to that single button, the dress closes with a few concealed snaps that hide under the button placket. It's a neat dress that looks sensational with black accessories.

Condition:
Very good to excellent. One repair neatly made at the bottom of the button placket. It had a small tear and it's now fixed. Freshly laundered and free of stains or odors.
