Grown-Up New Wave Vintage 70s/80s Bill Tice Dress -
$165
Bice Tice is a Coty Award winning designer known for his very chic, ultra comfortable lounge wear. This vintage piece was originally sold at Bonwit Teller in the late 70s/early 80s. It's a perfect example of how to take "at home" fashion to the streets with great effect and little effort. Forget about pajama bottoms as pants! A dress like this is stylish and doesn't have that "I just rolled out of bed and am feeling lazy" sensibility.
The dress is black. It's all cotton. The cut is generous and features large armholes. The button placket, dolman sleeves and belt are piped in nearly neon colors. The buttons that run down the front are lime green. The wide sash belt can be tied multiple ways and features very long, acid green cord ties. Black plus brights makes for the perfect New Wave effect.
Here's proof that you can be stylish and comfortable and still look very hot. All it takes is a little black vintage dress!
