|If you're an unconventional type and want to get married in a vintage dress, this one would be a stunning choice. It's a vintage 60s a-line dress from Elinor Simmons for Malcolm Starr. This gorgeous dress has an ornately beaded and heavily jeweled neckline. That deep plunging neckline sets off the empire waist beautifully. The fabric here is just sumptuous. It's matelasse and has a really ornate architectural design that almost looks embossed.
This dress is beaded in Hong Kong where all the best ornamentation was done in this era. It's pretty much couture work without the French seal of approval. There are huge emerald cut stones, marquis shaped rhinestones, sequins, and beads all in white and silver. They provide such a great contrast with the soft ivory color of the dress.
This dress closes in the back with a metal zipper.
Walking down the aisle or just going to a cocktail party where you really want to stand out? You can expect this dress fits the bill to a "T."
VERY GOOD. There is a faint yellow spot on the front of the dress. It is very hard to see in the photo, so it's circled in pink.
