Chic Vintage 50s Navy Crepe Dress with Lace & Rhinestone Bolero -
The is the kind of dressy dress we love. At the core, it's simple, classic and elegant, and then BAM! The dress gets amped-up with a stunning bolero jacket. Together, the two pieces are sensational!
This ensemble dates from the late '40s / early '50s. It's made of semi-sheer crepe that's ultra soft and drapes beautifully. The dress buttons asymmetrically and the wrap skirt is finished with a sinuous curved hem. There are hidden snaps and hooks and eyes concealed inside the dress for easy closure. This stylishly simple dress can be worn with or without the rich navy colored bolero. The huge, dramatic collar on that jacket is trimmed in antique white cotton lace, shiny rhinestones and silvery studs. Both the dress and the jacket have small shoulder pads.
Make a great first impression in this very chic and oh, so elegant cocktail dress.
VERY GOOD. This dress has been freshly drycleaned.
There are three photos of a one very small stain on the outer edge of the cotton lace trim on the collar. We included three pics so that you can see how it reads close-up and at a distance. The photo of the bodice shows some light staining/ ironing shine that we've enhanced to better show you how it might look in bright lighting. It's not that easy to see. The last photo shows a small tear in the fabric that's on the left side near the waist seam. That's about 1/8" and could be stitched and covered with a belt. Belt is missing. .
