This is a fabulous vintage 40s dress. What makes so special is the eye-catching print which is part-geometric floral, part curvy paisley and together the shapes converge in a wonderful colorway that's very representative of the era.

The dress is made of nylon. It's slinky and moves on the body with lots of fluidity and sass. We love the bodice because it's fitted and then accented in a pinafore style with ruffles at either side of the inset. That's adorable. The dress has a row of big wooden buttons, too, each dotted with green centers. It zips on the side with a metal zipper.

It's a Trudy Hall Jr., but don't let that label fool you--it's a regularly sized dress.

Condition:
This has some all over fade. There are some spots. You can see one such spot in the mustard paisley in the closeup photo of the print.
One area in 2nd to last photo is a close-up of what the general condition is in terms of the brightness of the print/color. The button centers are chipped. We've shown the worst one.
