Embroidered Vintage 70s Vietnam Tour Jacket -

Cotton Poplin with Saigon Map * Dragons!
This Viet-Nam tour jacket is a great piece for the collector or for someone who likes things that are bold and graphic. On the back there's a big yellow map of Saigon with each region carefully embroidered. The sleeves each have a fire-breathing dragon emblazoned on them.
This is likely a woman's jacket as evidenced by the embroidery on the chest. Finding a jacket that owned by Carol seems like a rare find. Carol must have liked this quite a bit as there's some fade and wear to the cotton. It's still a fairly deep black and there aren't any picks or pulls in the embroidery.
This piece of war memorabilia is one of our favorite areas of collecting as it speaks to the specificity of time and place. That's why we love souvenirs of all kinds.
