Red Gingham Kay Whitney Vintage 50s Shirtwaist Dress -  SOLD
The BEST Back Details!
Gingham holds a special place in the Lucitebox lexicon of vintage fashion. It's classic and cute. We love that innocent country girl feeling it seems to convey.

Enter this simple yet amazing little shirt dress. It's got the most darling little back details we've ever seen on a shirt dress. Running down the pleated center back of the dress, there's a row of white buttons topped with little gingham bows. Dig those details. These are the things that make vintage dresses so special and unique.

This 50s dress is made of cotton blend (?) shirting fabric. It is crisp and stiff enough to hold the skirt pleats beautifully. There are two concealed snaps at the waist and a row of buttons at the bodice.

This honey of a dress is just perfect for your summer wardrobe. It epitomizes all of the reasons we love gingham. First and foremost, it is simply darling!

Condition:
Very good to excellent. The buttons on bodice are lightly discolored. (Notice in the last photo that one button is whiter than the others.) The buttons on the back are chipped. You won't notice it, but you could swap them out if desired.
